Boxing Daily Report from the Kurusu Promotions promoted show at SkyDome Arena, Coventry,  taking place on 02/07/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Dave, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Deri Chosen One Cour (16(1) - 0) who hails from Birmingham, UK and Duncan Cooper(11 - 6 - 3) from Edinburgh, UK.  Both Cour and Cooper weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Owen Wallace, and the three ringside judges are Max Smith, Zain Salam and Ewan Goodlet.  

Round 1: 

Cooper steps inside.  Cour lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.

Cooper steps inside.  Cour digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Cooper dabs at his face checking for damage.

Cooper manouvers Cour onto the ropes.  Cooper is clearly losing his cool here!    He throws a hook, and catches Cour low!  The ref takes no action over the foul, despite complaints from Cour.  
Cooper closes the distance.  Cour is on target with a stinging right hook.  As Cour tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Cooper dabs at his face checking for damage.  
You can sense the frustration from Cooper now.    He throws a hook, and catches Cour low!  The ref doesnt appear to have noticed the foul and signals for the action to continue.  
Cooper closes the distance.  Cour lands a sharp left uppercut.  
Cour lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Cour steps to the outside and lands a cross to the head, a jab to the body and a jab to the head.  
Cooper closes the distance.  Cour is on target with a right hook to his opponents ribs.

Cooper is looking to close the distance and walks Cour down, trapping him on the ropes.  Cour lands a left uppercut, right hook and a left uppercut to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Cour sees his opponent is hurt.  He's looking for the finish!  Cour lands a cross followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND SENDS COOPER TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 7.  Cooper now seems to have got his legs back.  
Cooper tries to land a cross, but Cour slips the shot and counters with a WICKED right uppercut.  COOPER WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Cooper quickly recovers. 
Cour switches the action to the outside and lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Cooper steps inside.  Cour pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head, AND DROPS COOPER!  He tries to rise on shaky legs but Cooper cant beat the count!  The winner by KO is Cour!
