Yuichi Teshima vs Aki Hayashi

Boxing Daily Report from the Koranteng Promotions promoted show at Kei Kubo Gym, Asahikawa,  taking place on 23/05/2026:

Clearly Koranteng Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Hokkaido Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Yuichi Teshima (6 - 10 - 6) who hails from Sapporo, Japan and Aki Hayashi(6 - 15 - 2) from Hakodate, Japan.  Both Teshima and Hayashi weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Raiden Sera, and the three ringside judges are Kyo Minami, Yutaka Omura and Kyo Kawabata.  

Round 1: 

Teshima sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Teshima tries to land a left hook, but Hayashi sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Hayashi quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and hits home with a left uppercut.  
Hayashi quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with an overhand right.  
Teshima sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Hayashi tries to land an overhand right, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Teshima is on target with a cross.  
Teshima lands a cross.  
Hayashi steps inside.  Teshima drives a left uppercut into Hayashi's liver.  
Hayashi hits home with a cross.

Hayashi is on target with a left hook.  Hayashi throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action and gives Teshima time to recover.  
Hayashi advances into close range.  Teshima drives a right hook into Hayashi's ribcage.
