Hugh Dauda vs Danyaal Akel

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ghana-Ashanti promoted show at Kumasi Darko, Kumasi,  taking place on 19/06/2026:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Ghana-Ashanti Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Hugh Dauda (7 - 8 - 5) who hails from Kumasi, Ghana and Danyaal Akel(7 - 11 - 2) from Kumasi, Ghana.  Both Dauda and Akel weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Andy Salawu, and the three ringside judges are Uland Adade, Bob Antwi and Michael Salifu.
