Mel Mbuvi vs Floyd Lele

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Mombasa promoted show at Mombasa Kandie, Mombasa,  taking place on 24/05/2026:

Clearly AI Kenya-Mombasa have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Kenya-Mombasa Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mel Mbuvi (5 - 4 - 4) who hails from Mombasa, Kenya and Floyd Lele(2 - 2 - 2) from Mombasa, Kenya.  Both Mbuvi and Lele weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hassan Badini, and the three ringside judges are James Baldacchino, Sam Yiampoy and George Waciuma.
