Brendan Waiyaki vs Vandwon Kibet

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Nairobi promoted show at Nairobi Thiongo, Nairobi,  taking place on 24/05/2026:

Clearly AI Kenya-Nairobi have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Kenya-Nairobi Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Brendan Waiyaki (5 - 6 - 6) who hails from Nairobi, Kenya and Vandwon Kibet(3 - 9 - 1) from Nairobi, Kenya.  Both Waiyaki and Kibet weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rob Birdi, and the three ringside judges are Matt Kanyoro, Lisimba Kimeli and Faisal Shaheen.
