Boxing Daily Report from the Goofy promoted show at Village Resort Hotel, Blackpool,  taking place on 22/06/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Western Europe Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Eurosport UK, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Shane Monahan (15 - 4 - 2) who hails from Dublin, Ireland and Jacob Evens(19(1) - 3 - 1) from Carlisle, UK.  Both Monahan and Evens weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Alex Bean, and the three ringside judges are Floyd Borowiak, Michael Munhall and Rob Apted.
