James Garmon vs Floyd Hearn

Boxing Daily Report from the AI UK-Central England promoted show at Aeron Winstone Gym, Birmingham,  taking place on 25/05/2026:

Clearly AI UK-Central England have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the British-Central England Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are James Garmon (11 - 12 - 2) who hails from Manchester, UK and Floyd Hearn(2 - 0) from Leicester, UK.  Garmon weighed in at 126 pounds, while Hearn weighed in at 125 pounds and 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Robert Ewings, and the three ringside judges are Cody Biggs, Ewan Goodlet and Isaac MacIver.  

Round 1: 

Hearn is on target with a jab.

As they grapple, Hearn pushes his forearm into Garmon's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Hearn about fouling.  
Hearn is on target with a sharp right hook to Garmon's body.  Hearn clinches his opponent.  Hearn leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.
