Francesco Fabbri vs Mario Giovanni

Boxing Daily Report from the Salawu Promotions promoted show at Salerno Alboni, Salerno,  taking place on 21/06/2026:

Clearly Salawu Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Italy-Campania Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Francesco Fabbri (14 - 4 - 1) who hails from Naples, Italy and Mario Giovanni(5 - 8 - 5) from Naples, Italy.  Both Fabbri and Giovanni weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Gianmarco Burlando, and the three ringside judges are Francesco Violante, Remo Fanti and Fabrizio De Bono.  

Round 1: 

Fabbri switches the action to the outside.  Giovanni is on target with an overhand left.
