Xavier Gonsales vs Guido Merlos

Boxing Daily Report from the Adomah Promotions promoted show at Jose Tamez Gym, Juarez,  taking place on 26/05/2026:

Clearly Adomah Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico-Chihuahua Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Xavier Gonsales (9 - 6 - 2) who hails from Chihuahua, Mexico and Guido Merlos(10 - 12 - 2) from Juarez, Mexico.  Both Gonsales and Merlos weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Fanuco Lugo, and the three ringside judges are Jeraldo Ontiveros, Antonio Hermosillo and Jeraldo Ontiveros.
