Boxing Daily Report from the Sribor Promotions promoted show at Leon Mosco, Leon,  taking place on 26/05/2026:

Clearly Sribor Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico-Guanajuato Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Yago Retana (4 - 11(1) - 2) who hails from Irapuato, Mexico and Jose Alvear(12 - 6) from Celaya, Mexico.  Retana weighed in at 239 pounds and 13 ounces, while Alvear weighed in at 241 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Quico Brizuela, and the three ringside judges are Diego Pozo, Manny Francisco and Berto Escajeda.
