Dante Macina vs Remo Falomi

Boxing Daily Report from the Salawu Promotions promoted show at Salerno Lolli, Salerno,  taking place on 21/06/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Italy-Campania Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Dante Macina (20 - 2 - 1) who hails from Naples, Italy and Remo Falomi(8 - 6 - 8) from Salerno, Italy.  Both Macina and Falomi weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Gianmarco Mauri, and the three ringside judges are Luigi Mauro, Mario Sciglio and Luca Salvi.

Falomi closes the distance.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Macina dabs at his face checking for damage.  Macina has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused minor swelling  around the left eye.
