Boxing Daily Report from the African Fusion promoted show at Morris Depot Police Camp, Harare,  taking place on 31/07/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Southern African Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on DStv, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Zachary Chikwava (14(3) - 0) who hails from Chitungwiza, Zimbabwe and Steven Vermeulen(15 - 3(1)) from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe.  Both Chikwava and Vermeulen weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mark Mujokoro, and the three ringside judges are Makalo Ncube, Peabo Chikwava and Robert Hunzvi.
