Justin Timbilil vs John Gumo

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Kisumu promoted show at Ibrahim Arafat Gym, Kisumu,  taking place on 24/06/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Kenya Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on KTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Justin Timbilil (7 - 8 - 1) who hails from Nakuru, Kenya and John Gumo(4 - 10(1) - 5) from Kisumu, Kenya.  Both Timbilil and Gumo weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mark Lavatsa, and the three ringside judges are Peter Kirui, Mark Lavatsa and Alen Mwamzandi.
