Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Nuevo Leon promoted show at Monterrey Durazo, Monterrey,  taking place on 24/06/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Mexico-Nuevo Leon Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TVC Deportes, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Xabat Paulino (19 - 2) who hails from Ciudad Apodaca, Mexico and Cris Melgarejo(10 - 4 - 3) from Monterrey, Mexico.  Both Paulino and Melgarejo weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Juan Velasquez, and the three ringside judges are Angel Talavera, Onofre Medero and Carlos Benavente.
