Boxing Daily Report from the AI Nigeria-Lagos State promoted show at Lagos Adelaye, Lagos,  taking place on 27/05/2026:

Clearly AI Nigeria-Lagos State have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Nigeria-Lagos State Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Nelson Akubeze (9 - 2 - 1) who hails from Lagos, Nigeria and Chris Adesoji(9 - 8 - 3) from Lagos, Nigeria.  Akubeze weighed in at 239 pounds and 10 ounces, while Adesoji weighed in at 230 pounds and 8 ounces.
