Tariq Hossain vs Ikechukwu Oseni

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Nigeria-Osun State promoted show at Lukman Adesoji Gym, Osogbo,  taking place on 27/05/2026:

Clearly AI Nigeria-Osun State have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Nigeria-Osun State Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Tariq Hossain (12 - 2) who hails from Ilesa, Nigeria and Ikechukwu Oseni(17(1) - 0) from Osogbo, Nigeria.  Both Hossain and Oseni weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Chigozie Bada, and the three ringside judges are Waleed Srour, Izunna Adamu and Mfon Nemine.
