Robert Lagat vs Jasper Nasasira

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Nairobi promoted show at Nairobi Iria, Nairobi,  taking place on 23/06/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Kenya-Nairobi Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Robert Lagat (12 - 9 - 1) who hails from Nairobi, Kenya and Jasper Nasasira(9 - 9 - 2) from Nairobi, Kenya.  Both Lagat and Nasasira weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Lisimba Kimeli, and the three ringside judges are Rob Birdi, Shaun Arusei and Noah Odoyo.
