Tunde Burja vs Matthew Erhenede

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Nigeria-Kano State promoted show at Kano Onigbinde, Kano,  taking place on 25/06/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Nigeria-Kano State Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on AIT Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Tunde Burja (6 - 4(2) - 1) who hails from Kano, Nigeria and Matthew Erhenede(12 - 7 - 4) from Kano, Nigeria.  Both Burja and Erhenede weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Gbolahan Lagelu, and the three ringside judges are Gbolahan Adenaike, Ollie Mbachu and Chinedu Shekari.

Erhenede closes the distance and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.
