Alejandro Chavis vs Orlando Blas

Boxing Daily Report from the Mahlangu Promotions promoted show at Carlos Merlos Gym, San Luis Potosi,  taking place on 25/06/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Mexico-San Luis Potosi Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Alejandro Chavis (7 - 9 - 1) who hails from San Luis Potosi, Mexico and Orlando Blas(6 - 5 - 2) from San Luis Potosi, Mexico.  Chavis weighed in at 139 pounds and 12 ounces, while Blas weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rico Borjas, and the three ringside judges are Ulises Fosco, Sierra Otero and Selestino Bolanos.
