Sierra De Gonia vs Diego Almanza

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Peru-Lima promoted show at Cris Baldonado Gym, Huacho,  taking place on 28/06/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Peru Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Sierra De Gonia (12 - 8(2)) who hails from Lima, Peru and Diego Almanza(9 - 6) from Lima, Peru.  De Gonia weighed in at 121 pounds and 2 ounces, while Almanza weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Xaver Armando, and the three ringside judges are Saturnin Villena, Iago Martir and Xaverius Arredondo.  

Round 1: 

Almanza is looking to close the distance and throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a left hook.
