Dele Lamidi vs Shehu Shanu

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Nigeria-Rivers State promoted show at Port Harcourt Akwashiki, Port Harcourt,  taking place on 26/06/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Nigeria-Rivers State Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Dele Lamidi (7 - 4 - 2) who hails from Port Harcourt, Nigeria and Shehu Shanu(8 - 13 - 3) from Port Harcourt, Nigeria.  Lamidi weighed in at 232 pounds And 14 ounces, while Shanu weighed in at 239 pounds And 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Bright Kuti, and the three ringside judges are Gbolahan Ohadugha, Alen Akika and Bature Isangedighe.
