Goos Cloete vs Montraie Shongwe

Boxing Daily Report from the African Fusion promoted show at Ellis Park Arena, Johannesburg,  taking place on 10/07/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SABC1, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Goos Cloete (12 - 2 - 3) who hails from Roodepoort, South Africa and Montraie Shongwe(11 - 9(1) - 2) from Mamelodi, South Africa.  Cloete weighed in at 146 pounds and 12 ounces, while Shongwe weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Quaddus Rascalimu, and the three ringside judges are Max De Jager, Tlou Nqakula and Quoitrel Sotyu.
