Algernon Obekop vs Chris Boo

Boxing Daily Report from the Montreal's Top Gym promoted show at Pavillon de Juenesse, Quebec City,  taking place on 04/07/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Algernon Obekop (4(1) - 0) who hails from Garoua, Cameroon and Chris Boo(15 - 8 - 1) from Calgary, Canada.  Obekop weighed in at 223 pounds And 1 ounces, while Boo weighed in at 232 pounds And 6 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Paris Clarin, and the three ringside judges are Destin Dauphin, Elliot Girardot and Michael Oliver.  

Round 1:
