Mel Cowans vs Robert Williams

Boxing Daily Report from the Magicman Promotions promoted show at Lewis A. Swyer Theatre, Albany,  taking place on 01/07/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fight Now TV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mel Cowans (19(2) - 0) who hails from Memphis, USA and Robert Williams(0 - 3 - 1) from Thornton, USA.  Cowans weighed in at 239 pounds and 7 ounces, while Williams weighed in at 220 pounds and 14 ounces.
