Blake Ntshangase vs Paul Matui

Boxing Daily Report from the African Fusion promoted show at Standard Bank Arena, Johannesburg,  taking place on 04/07/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Blake Ntshangase (7 - 0) who hails from Umlazi, South Africa and Paul Matui(9 - 6 - 4) from Nairobi, Kenya.  Ntshangase weighed in at 139 pounds and 15 ounces, while Matui weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Charel Cilliers, and the three ringside judges are Peter Oosthuizen, Tlou Nqakula and Peter Mbalula.
