Jackson Vilakazi vs Joshua Pietersen

Boxing Daily Report from the African Fusion promoted show at Standard Bank Arena, Johannesburg,  taking place on 04/07/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the South Africa-Gauteng Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jackson Vilakazi (10 - 8 - 4) who hails from Germiston, South Africa and Joshua Pietersen(4 - 4 - 4) from Soweto, South Africa.  Vilakazi weighed in at 139 pounds And 15 ounces, while Pietersen weighed in at 139 pounds And 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Tlou Nqakula, and the three ringside judges are Charel Cilliers, Peter Oosthuizen and Peter Mbalula.
