Boxing Daily Report from the Gore Promotions promoted show at Agganis Arena, Boston,  taking place on 27/06/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Blake Finlay (2 - 0) who hails from Louisville, USA and Davie Sturrock(3 - 3) from Montreal, Canada.  Finlay weighed in at 234 pounds And 4 ounces, while Sturrock weighed in at 238 pounds And 2 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Charles Keath, and the three ringside judges are Peter Cooper, Ian Noble and Richie MacIsaac.

Finlay pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.

Sturrock throws a left hook, but Finlay holds on to his opponent.  Finlay leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Finlay quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a solid left hook to his opponents body.

Sturrock attempts to land a jab, but Finlay parries the shot and counters with a sharp cross.  
Finlay advances into close range and lands consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body.
