Vasili Stepanov vs Timofei Petukhov

Boxing Daily Report from the Donetsk Sports Club Championship promoted show at Evgeny Zaleski Gym, Rostov-on-Don,  taking place on 29/06/2026:

Clearly Donetsk Sports Club Championship have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Russia-Rostov Oblast Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Vasili Stepanov (12(2) - 1) who hails from Rostov-on-Don, Russia and Timofei Petukhov(12(1) - 1) from Rostov-on-Don, Russia.  Both Stepanov and Petukhov weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Georgiy Lavrov, and the three ringside judges are Dmitri Ivanov, Timofei Slutsky and Sergei Tarasov.
