Angel Polino vs Carlos Alcon

Boxing Daily Report from the Ondoa Promotions promoted show at Montevideo Sabina, Montevideo,  taking place on 01/07/2026:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Uruguay-Montevideo Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Angel Polino (12 - 3 - 1) who hails from Montevideo, Uruguay and Carlos Alcon(10 - 2 - 1) from Montevideo, Uruguay.  Both Polino and Alcon weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Juan Polino, and the three ringside judges are Santiago Remedios, Angel Nevarez and Baltasar Regal.
