Boxing Daily Report from the AI Vietnam-South promoted show at Ho Chi Minh City Lanh, Ho Chi Minh City,  taking place on 01/07/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Vietnam-South Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on VT6, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Trang Chien (5 - 5) who hails from Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam and Pho Trung(6 - 0) from Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.  Chien weighed in at 160 pounds, while Trung weighed in at 159 pounds and 5 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Thi Phuong, and the three ringside judges are Vong Phong, Vien Phuong and Tien Manh.
