Lee Marechera vs Paul Sibanda

Boxing Daily Report from the Quartey Promotions promoted show at Chitungwiza Kabweza, Chitungwiza,  taking place on 03/06/2026:

Clearly Quartey Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Zimbabwe-Harare Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Lee Marechera (6 - 3 - 1) who hails from Harare, Zimbabwe and Paul Sibanda(14 - 2 - 1) from Harare, Zimbabwe.  Marechera weighed in at 154 pounds, while Sibanda weighed in at 153 pounds And 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Josh Tiripano, and the three ringside judges are Dillon Mutasa, John Ngoma and Jack Feamster.
