Robert Odoki vs Noel Sseppuya

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Uganda-Northern Region promoted show at Lira Mustafa, Lira,  taking place on 02/07/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Uganda-Northern Region Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Robert Odoki (10 - 6 - 2) who hails from Gulu, Uganda and Noel Sseppuya(2 - 4 - 3) from Lira, Uganda.  Odoki weighed in at 146 pounds and 7 ounces, while Sseppuya weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Shayan Abdallah, and the three ringside judges are Alastair Pbitek, Yasin Abdelnour and Jamie Orru.  

Round 1: 

Sseppuya advances into close range.  Odoki hits home with a left uppercut.
