Mark MacGillivray vs Rob Aikens

Boxing Daily Report from the Najjemba Promotions promoted show at Harvey McDermott Gym, Durham,  taking place on 02/07/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-North Carolina Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mark MacGillivray (15 - 3 - 3) who hails from Greensboro, USA and Rob Aikens(7 - 13 - 3) from Raleigh, USA.  MacGillivray weighed in at 175 pounds, while Aikens weighed in at 174 pounds And 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Paul Gath, and the three ringside judges are Bryan James, Dave Jernigan and Felix Hughes.  

Round 1: 

MacGillivray steps away from his opponent and attempts to land a jab, but Aikens slips the shot and counters with a right hook.
