Boxing Daily Report from the Smoking Joe promoted show at Double Tree Hotel, San Jose,  taking place on 21/07/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the USA Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Shayan Sharif (16(14) - 0) who hails from Bakersfield, USA and Dan Buchanon(13(8) - 0) from Macon, USA.  Both Sharif and Buchanon weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Yasin Hashemi, and the three ringside judges are Obaid Abdelnour, Mark Hyland and Dylan Nield.
