Peter Clay vs Shaun Veronisi

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Gold Gym, Brisbane,  taking place on 04/07/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Peter Clay (4 - 0) who hails from Melbourne, Australia and Shaun Veronisi(9 - 8 - 1) from Brisbane, Australia.  Clay weighed in at 112 pounds, while Veronisi weighed in at 111 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Dan Nish, and the three ringside judges are Neil McAllaster, Mark Lockie and Brendan Moultrie.
