Takeo Shiraishi vs Hiro Okimoto

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Hiroshima promoted show at Hiroshima Tanaka, Hiroshima,  taking place on 01/07/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Japan-Hiroshima Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Takeo Shiraishi (15 - 4(1)) who hails from Hiroshima, Japan and Hiro Okimoto(10 - 8) from Hiroshima, Japan.  Both Shiraishi and Okimoto weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Yuji Suda, and the three ringside judges are Nori Oye, Iwao Sando and Takeshi Yokoyama.
