Imran Munir vs Jonathan Kafule

Boxing Daily Report from the Manyama Promotions promoted show at Kampala Ntambi, Kampala,  taking place on 02/07/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Uganda Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on UTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Imran Munir (12 - 0) who hails from Kampala, Uganda and Jonathan Kafule(12 - 5 - 2) from Kampala, Uganda.  Munir weighed in at 168 pounds, while Kafule weighed in at 167 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Paul Butime, and the three ringside judges are Naeem Kabuye, Dale Kayonga and Mark Hamya.
