Ian Bunner vs Billy MacNeil

Boxing Daily Report from the Frank Smith’s Tea Boy Promotions promoted show at Event City, Manchester,  taking place on 04/07/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Ian Bunner (10 - 0) who hails from Burnaby, Canada and Billy MacNeil(9 - 3 - 5) from Dublin, Ireland.  Both Bunner and MacNeil weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hayden Ritchey, and the three ringside judges are Brian Hall, Paul McIver and Jack Keefe.  

Round 1: 

MacNeil advances into close range.  Bunner lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.
