Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at Temple Theater, Des Moines,  taking place on 27/07/2026:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are John McFarlane (14 - 0) who hails from Rockford, USA and Angel Lerma(10 - 4 - 3) from Honolulu, USA.  Both McFarlane and Lerma weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Isaac Levingston, and the three ringside judges are Mike James, Amon Stackpoole and Dave Weatherhead.
