Fred Baines vs Zach Grieco

Boxing Daily Report from the Kurusu Promotions promoted show at SkyDome Arena, Coventry,  taking place on 02/07/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the British-Central England Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Dave, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Fred Baines (15 - 5 - 1) who hails from Sheffield, UK and Zach Grieco(5 - 5 - 5) from Coventry, UK.  Baines weighed in at 160 pounds, while Grieco weighed in at 159 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Max Smith, and the three ringside judges are Zain Salam, Owen Wallace and Ewan Goodlet.  

Round 1: 

Baines advances into close range.  Grieco drives a right uppercut into his opponents body.
