Olindo Mellado vs Jerrold Cajigas

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Mexico State promoted show at Jax Lusco Gym, Tlalnepantla,  taking place on 04/07/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Mexico-Mexico State Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Olindo Mellado (12 - 5 - 3) who hails from Chimalhuacan, Mexico and Jerrold Cajigas(8 - 6 - 1) from Nezahualcoyotl, Mexico.  Both Mellado and Cajigas weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Oihane Ventura, and the three ringside judges are Vicente Camargo, Federico Villegas and Juan Blasco.

Mellado steps away from his opponent and lands a cross.
