Dutch Joens vs Clovis Helmkamp

Boxing Daily Report from the Jacob Howes promoted show at Jacob Gym, Munich,  taking place on 27/06/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Dutch Joens (4 - 0) who hails from Heilbronn, Germany and Clovis Helmkamp(0 - 3) from Cologne, Germany.  Joens weighed in at 251 pounds and 5 ounces, while Helmkamp weighed in at 234 pounds and 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Bernie Judd, and the three ringside judges are Maximilian Berth, Archimbald Marzen and Einhardt Matzek.  

Round 1: 

Joens finds the target with a jab.

Joens gets on the inside.  Joens pivots to the side of his opponent andAs Helmkamp tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Joens dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Joens is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a left hook to the head.  Joens holds on to his opponent.  Joens uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Helmkamp behind the head. Joens pushes his forearm into Helmkamp's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Joens quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a cross.  
Joens stands off with low guard waiting for his opponent to launch an attack.  Helmkamp attempts to land a right uppercut, but Joens blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Joens closes the distance and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He then lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Joens sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a ramrod jab.  
Joens hits the target with a solid jab.  
Joens advances into close range.  Joens leans back on the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Helmkamp tries to tag Joens on the ropes, but his opponent blocks every shot!  
Joens is on target with a cross.
