Jun Young vs Xiaoping Ching

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at University of Science and Technology, Beijing,  taking place on 11/07/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the China Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Jun Young (16 - 2) who hails from Shantou, China and Xiaoping Ching(12 - 4 - 3) from Shanghai, China.  Both Young and Ching weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ye Yuen, and the three ringside judges are Lao-Tzu Min, Xi-Wang Sha and Wu-pen Zeng.  

Round 1: 

Young pivots to the right of his opponent and is on target with a stinging jab.
