Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at University of Science and Technology, Beijing,  taking place on 18/07/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the China Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Starsports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Liang Wong (9 - 11 - 1) who hails from Linyi, China and Sun Truong(12 - 8(1) - 3) from Zibo, China.  Both Wong and Truong weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Gao Kung, and the three ringside judges are Deshi Tak, HuiK'o Chow and Confucius Waung.
