Rehan Tayfur vs Mauro Barzanti

Boxing Daily Report from the JDHawks Gym promoted show at Genoa Tremaglia, Genoa,  taking place on 28/06/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Rehan Tayfur (3 - 0) who hails from Taif, Saudi Arabia and Mauro Barzanti(2 - 0 - 2) from Rome, Italy.  Tayfur weighed in at 199 pounds And 13 ounces, while Barzanti weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Gianluca Bergomi, and the three ringside judges are Fabio Porrazzini, Giorgio Malgieri and Fausto Bordiga.  

Round 1: 

Tayfur lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.

Tayfur stands off with low guard waiting for his opponent to launch an attack.  Barzanti attempts to land a cross, but Tayfur slips the shot and counters with a right hook.
