Duncan Fullerton vs Matt MacGibbon

Boxing Daily Report from the TooOldToParty promoted show at Westpac, Melbourne,  taking place on 24/08/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the Australia Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on WIN, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Doctor Duncan Fullerton (12(3) - 0) who hails from Sydney, Australia and Matt MacGibbon(13 - 1 - 1) from Newcastle, Australia.  Fullerton weighed in at 140 pounds, while MacGibbon weighed in at 139 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Arran Ritchey, and the three ringside judges are Alec Saghatelian, Alec Saghatelian and Clinton Waugh.  

Round 1: 

Fullerton is looking to close the distance.  MacGibbon pivots to the left of his opponent.  MacGibbon throws a right hook, but Fullerton clinches his opponent.  MacGibbon tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Fullerton's kidney.
