Chris Buchannon vs Michael Cowens

Boxing Daily Report from the boxeraifan promoted show at PTS Showclub, Denver,  taking place on 12/07/2026:

Clearly boxeraifan have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the USA-Mountain West Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fight Now TV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Chris Buchannon (7 - 4(1) - 1) who hails from Pueblo, USA and Michael Cowens(11 - 11(2) - 2) from Anchorage, USA.  Both Buchannon and Cowens weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Richie Watson, and the three ringside judges are Chris Duncan, Robert Picard and William Mutch.  

Round 1: 

Cowens finds the target with a jab.  
Buchannon is looking to close the distance and connects with a right uppercut.
