Fraser Niece vs Haaris Mostafa

Boxing Daily Report from the Mainza Promotions promoted show at Wakefield McVean, Wakefield,  taking place on 14/06/2026:

Clearly Mainza Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the British-Northern England Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Fraser Niece (11(1) - 1) who hails from Preston, UK and Haaris Mostafa(8 - 7(1) - 1) from Bolton, UK.  Both Niece and Mostafa weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Russell Gwilym, and the three ringside judges are Robert McQueen, Chris McReynolds and Robert Macmillan.  

Round 1: 

Mostafa lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Niece throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Mostafa digs in a solid left hook to Niece's liver.

Niece switches the action to the outside.  Some sustained pressure from Niece could be enough to finish Mostafa!  Niece lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the body and a left uppercut to the head, AND SENDS MOSTAFA SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  The count reaches 10, but Mostafa is unable to get up!  The winner by KO is Niece!
