Fresco Rubio vs Rodrigo Palomino

Boxing Daily Report from the Rourke & Salvador promoted show at Asuncion Patricio, Asuncion,  taking place on 28/06/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Fresco Rubio (8 - 0) who hails from Ciudad del Este, Paraguay and Rodrigo Palomino(0 - 4 - 4) from Asuncion, Paraguay.  Rubio weighed in at 146 pounds and 4 ounces, while Palomino weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Montel Macias, and the three ringside judges are Vegas Marrero, Agapetus Rodriguez and Guillermo Rolando.
