Aimon Garcia vs Gig Ribas

Boxing Daily Report from the Rourke & Salvador promoted show at Crown Plaza, Asuncion,  taking place on 13/08/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Paraguay Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fox Sports Latin America, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Aimon Garcia (16(5) - 0 - 1) who hails from San Lorenzo, Paraguay and Gig Ribas(12(3) - 2 - 1) from Ciudad del Este, Paraguay.  Garcia weighed in at 129 pounds and 8 ounces, while Ribas weighed in at 129 pounds and 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Vegas Marrero, and the three ringside judges are Loredo Galban, Loredo Machado and Loredo Machado.
